Understanding Derivatives – A Simple Finance Guide

When I was working at Saxo Bank, I had to understand a lot of financial terms — most of which made zero sense at first.
Words like “Turbos”, “Put-Call Parity”, “Delta”, and “Exotic Options” sound like they belong in sci-fi movies, not in trading floors.

I don’t come from a finance background. But working in a fintech environment, I had to speak the same language. Instead of memorizing stuff, I needed to really understand the concepts, so I started writing this small guide for myself — to break down the complex stuff into simple, visual explanations.
No jargon, no overthinking — just basic concepts in a way that anyone (including a developer like me) can follow.
